As Donkey said in Shrek "And in the morning we having WAFFLES"

Ingredients

2 cups flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp Baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 3/4 cup milk
1/3 vegetable oil
2 large eggs

Directions

  1. Place ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine until well blended and smooth.
  2. Let batter rest 5 minutes before using.
  3. Preheat your waffle iron on setting #3.
  4. When preheated, green indicator light will illuminate.
  5. Pour 1 1/4 cups batter evenly over the lower grid; spread batter using a heat-proof spatula to within 1/2 inch (1 cm) of the edge of the grid.
  6. Close lid of waffle iron - green indicator light will turn off.
  7. When green indicator light turns on again, waffle is ready. If your waffle iron doesn't have a light indicator wait until there is no longer steam escaping from the sides of the iron.
  8. Open lid and carefully remove baked waffle.
  9. Repeat with remaining batter.
  10. For best results, serve immediately, but you can freeze for up to 2 months if wrapped tightly.
