Ruth's Granola Bars

I had these granola bars from a hiking partner named Ruth. They are a great hiking treat packed with nutty protein and that hit of sugar you (I) sometimes crave on a hike and easy to make.

Yield: 12-14 bars

Gyoza

Caprese Bruschetta

In Alberta our growing season is short. Nevertheless we can buy a few farm fresh vegetables year round thanks to green houses. Buying local supports our community and helps the environment. These fresh Alberta tomatoes have a beautiful flavour and colour to cheer up even the darkest winter day of the year.

Caramelized Onion Puffs

Caramelized onions are amazing all on their own but then when you pair them with puff pastry and cheese it gets even much better! My students made these for a big school wide fundraiser and while I don't have a finished product picture with the cheese and garnish, please take my word they were beautiful and flew off the serving trays!
