These are my favorite cookies to make. I make them so often that I actually don't need to look at the recipe any more.

Yield: 4 dozen

Ingredients

1 cup White Sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Softened Butter
2 Eggs
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
3 cup Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking soda
1 1/2 cups Chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Cream sugars butter eggs and vanilla in mixing bowl
  2. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together
  3. Add the dry ingredients in 1/2 cup increments to the butter mixture and mix on speed 2 for 30 seconds
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips
  5. Cover cookie sheet with parchment paper
  6. Drop cookie dough using an ice cream scoop onto the cookie sheet
  7. Bake at 375 for 12-14 minutes
  8. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before moving to cooling racks

You can roll the cookie dough into balls and freeze for when they're needed. Bake at the same temperature but for an additional minute or two
