Having a Jewish roommate has encouraged me to learn a few new recipes, latkas are a family favorite for him.
Ingredients
8 medium Potatoes
2 medium onions
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3 Tbsp flour
Directions
- Grate Potatoes & onions. Drain off extra liquid through cheesecloth.
- Heat oil 1/2 inch of veggie oil in a deep frying pan.
- Spoon potato mixture into oil and fry until golden brown and crispy around sides then flip
- Drain on paper towel
- Serve with apple sauce and sour cream.
