Easy Baked Trout

Posted in /Cooking/Entrees/Seafood on Wednesday, March 29, 2017

When I need a quick dinner this is what I make. I always have a filet of trout in the freezer and it thaws quickly in cold water in the sink. This recipe comes together in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Steelhead trout or salmon - frozen is totally usable for the recipe
Teriyaki sauce
Salmon spice mix
Lemon

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 375F
2. Thaw fish in cold running water

3. Create a little tin foil bowl by folding up the sides about 1 inch
4. Drizzle fish with teriyaki

5. Sprinkle with salmon spice

6. Slice and arrange lemon on top of the fish

7. Bake fish for 15-20 minutes or until fish flakes with fork
