Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

This recipe works for both muffins and loaves. I try to always have a few ripe bananas on hand in the freezer. A little tip for for freezer bananas is to peel them before you freeze them.
Ingredients
3/4 Cups sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup ripe banana mashed
1/3 cup sour milk (1/3 cup milk + 1 Tbsp lemon juice)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Grease and flour 1 loaf pan or prepare a muffin pan with paper liners
- Preheat oven to 350
- Cream sugar and butter
- Beat in egg, vanilla and banana
- Mix together in a separate bowl sour milk, baking soda then add to batter
- Beat in flour and baking powder
- Add chocolate chips
- Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or bake in a muffin pan for 20-25 minutes.
