Slow Cooker Korean BBQ

Posted in /Cooking/Entrees/Slow_Cooker on Friday, October 27, 2017

I was looking for a new venison recipe, and found this gem on Julie Golob's website. You can make it with a package of Campbell's Korean BBQ sauce but its really easy to make your own too. I was at school so Matt put this slow cooker recipe together for our dinner and it was a huge success!

Ingredients

2 lbs. Venison or beef
2 onions
2 cups of Korean BBQ sauce
rice noodles
Serve with a fresh green salad (preferably spinach based)

Directions

  1. slice onions and place in the slow cooker
  2. Cut venison into stir fry size bites and all fat removed then add to the slow cooker
  3. Pour sauce on top of meat and onions and stir to distribute.
  4. Place lid on slow cooker and set on lowest setting.
  5. Cook for 5-7 hours.
  6. Prepare rice noodles per instructions

My daughter who won't eat venison loved it...who would know!

Thanks Matt and Tammy for making a believer out of Hannah after all.
