My students made these for their Vegetable and Fruit module. They were all pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to roast veggies and make such a flavourful snack. This would also make a great appetizer for your next party...it would be a good self assembly line too.

We decided to start off the new year with less dishes (only slightly fewer as it turns out) and using what we already have on hand rather than venturing out into the bitter cold night for ingredients. This dinner was extremely tasty and easy to make.

Who said back country food has to be boring or bland? This is anything but normal back country food. The shrimp dehydrated in about 4 hours and the rest was all purchased and popped into the ziplock with minimal effort.

Currys are probably one of my favorite things to eat on the trail. I've done them vegetarian style, canned meat style and this one is jerky style. Each and every time I have trail curry it is great!
You can use a camp stove or make this sort of meal over a wood stove.
